"Mekiyis or Melasti" the procession of hindu followwers carrying temples effigies to the beach for purification ceremony in welcoming "Nyepi" the is Caka New year. Sanur and Kuta Beach.

"Tawur Agung Kesanga" : Great sacrifical ceremony ofered to the underwold spirits for not Disturbing human being's. Settlement at 12.00 am followed by procces of "Ogoh -ogoh" (Huge doll symbolizing evil spirit) in the evening

"NYEPI" : The Caka new year 1932, the day of absolut silence for Hindu followwers. Nyepi is when no actifity is done,no fire Is lit,no travelling anywhere and no amusment is held for the day and night. Throughtout Bali.

06 March
"NGEMBAK"."MED-MEDAN" traditional event,this event is held in connection with "Nyepi" the caka new year,involving maidens and bachelors of the village as to strengten brotherhood and understanding among the youth.Initiated wiht prayer at the local temple,the group members then hug one another,getting trhougly wet under water sprouted by someone. Is indeed a cheerfull moment for all, held about 15.00 pm.
